Instructions:

Boil the washed spinach leaves (de-stem larger leaves) in salted water for about 3 minutes. Strain the cooking water, rinse the spinach in cold water and squeeze. Sauté the finely chopped onions in hot butter, stir in the pressed garlic and toss the spinach leaves well in it. Season with salt and pepper. Toast the breadcrumbs and mix in together with the toasted almond slivers.
