For the buttermilk bread, first mix the ingredients well with a wooden spoon, then knead well.
If necessary, add some more of the wheat flour if the dough sticks too much. The dough must be soft and elastic, but not sticky. In no case should it be too firm.
Then let the dough rise for about 20 minutes. Shape the bread, place it on the baking sheet and let it rise again for about 20 minutes. Preheat the stove to 250 degrees and bake the bread on the middle rack for 10 minutes.
Turn down the heat to 200 degrees and bake for another 50 minutes. The buttermilk bread is ready when it no longer sounds dull but somewhat hollow when tapped.
