Instructions:

For the Quick Goulash Soup, peel the potatoes and pre-cook for about 8 minutes. Then strain and cut into small cubes.

Meanwhile, finely dice the onions and bacon, chop the garlic cloves very finely, and slice the sausages.

Remove the stems from the peppers, remove the seeds and also cut into small cubes.

Heat butter in a pot and slowly sauté onions and bacon.

Add garlic, continue to sauté briefly, then sprinkle in paprika powder and deglaze with a dash of vinegar.

Mix in tomato paste, stir through and pour in some soup. Bring to the boil once.

Add potatoes, peppers and sausages. Season with salt, pepper and caraway seeds and add the rest of the soup. Let it boil down until the potatoes are soft.

If the soup is not yet creamy enough, mix some cream with flour until smooth and stir into the boiling soup.

Boil down again briefly. (If the soup has become too soggy, add a little water and season again).

Pour the Quick Goulash Soup into hot cups and garnish with fresh marjoram.
