For the beer bread, mix all ingredients with a wooden spoon and place in a greased baking pan (e.g. loaf pan) WITHOUT extra leavening.
Bake at about 200 degrees in the oven for about 1 hour.
To make the crust crispier, you can remove the beer bread from the mold after about 3/4 of the baking time and finish baking without the mold.
