Homemade baby food – First complementary food: For the apple-blueberry-oat porridge, wash the apple, peel it and cut it into wedges. Remove the stem, core and skin. Cook with 3 tablespoons of water over low heat until soft.
Wash blueberries and remove any stems and leaves. Add to the cooked apple pieces.
Place oatmeal in a saucepan with a small amount of water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer gently for three minutes. Remove from heat.Add the fruit to the oatmeal and puree with a hand blender. Now stir in butter.
If necessary, let the apple blueberry oatmeal cool to eating temperature.
