Slightly moisten the bread slices with milk, toast them in clarified butter, place half of them in a greased baking dish, cover with sliced apples and raisins, add sugar, then layer the second half of the bread mixture on top. Prepare a thin batter from black plum flour, milk, eggs and a pinch of salt, pour it slowly over the bread mixture and let it all mix well. Preheat the oven to approx. 180 °C and bake the apple boil for about 1/2 hour.
