For the bacon asparagus with fried potatoes, it is best to boil the potatoes the day before. Peel the potatoes and cut them into slices or simply halve them, depending on their size.

Wash and peel the asparagus and cook in lightly salted salted water until al dente. Wrap 1 spear of asparagus with a slice of bacon. Heat olive oil in a pan and lightly brown the potatoes in it.

Season with salt, pepper and chives. Fry the asparagus briefly on each side. Arrange everything together on a plate.
