Peel the potatoes and boil them in salted water until soft.
Cut the bacon into small cubes. Remove the skin from the onions and chop finely. Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the bacon and onions until light yellow.
Drain the potatoes, press them or mash them well. Stir in the bacon and onion mixture. Add the liver sausage and eggs to the mashed potatoes with a fork, season with salt, pepper and marjoram.
Shape the mixture into meat loaves with your hands and turn them over in the breadcrumbs.
Heat the fat in a large frying pan and fry the potato patties on both sides until golden brown.
