For the apricot sheet cake, beat the egg whites until stiff. In a separate bowl, cream the liquid butter, sugar and egg yolks and mix with the snow.

Now mix the flour and baking powder and slowly stir into the mixture. Spread the cake batter on a tray with baking paper, cover with the pitted and halved apricots and bake the sheet cake until golden brown.

Finally, sprinkle the apricot cake with powdered sugar.
