For the Winter Blackberry Jam, puree the blackberries with a hand blender. Then pour the mixture into a saucepan, mix with the preserving sugar and bring to the boil. Stir constantly while boiling.

When everything is well mixed, add the cinnamon and finally the rum. Bring everything to the boil again and then test the jelly on a plate.

Hold the plate at an angle and when the jam no longer runs down, it is ready. Fill the winter blackberry jam into clean jars with a filling ring and close the jars tightly.
