Remove fat and tendons from meat, cut into coarse cubes. Mix in a baking dish with vinegar, oil, crushed garlic, finely chopped pepper, salt, onion and 1 tbsp. colombo powder and marinate for about 2 hours.
Heat some oil in a large frying pan, sauté the quantity in it briefly, then add the diced vegetables and the remaining spices. Add a little water and cook at low temperature for about 40 minutes.
Garnish with tomatoes and limes and serve with basmati rice.
Tip: Keep colombo powder in good third party or spice world stores.
