Cut butter into pieces and melt in a saucepan.
Put flour in a large enough bowl and mix with baking powder. Add milk, mix everything together with a mixer.
Add sugar, 1 pinch of salt as well as the eggs and mix everything together until smooth. Finally, fold in the cooled but still liquid butter. Let the dough rest for 20 minutes.
Preheat the waffle iron. Spread a thin layer of melted butter on both sides. 1- 2 ladle waffle batter onto the bottom side. Close the waffle iron and bake the waffle in 4 to 5 minutes. Bake 8 waffles in order in this manner.
Let cool slightly on a cooling rack. Serve with fruit salad, compote, fruit or ice cream.
