Preheat kitchen stove to 220 degrees.

With a hand mixer, stir egg yolks, add sugar and stir until whitish. Add flour and mix well. After a minute, add the baking powder and only then mix in the wine, oil, liqueur for about three minutes. Beat the egg whites until firm and stir into the batter for one minute.

Divide the dough evenly into two well buttered springform pans of about 25 cm ø (if preparing with 8 eggs).

After 15 min. baking time, turn the molds so that the dough rises evenly. Reduce baking heat to 200 °C and continue baking for 10 min. Remove springform pans from heat and cover with aluminum foil. Cool, the cakes will become flatter. Turn out onto paper and remove from mold.

For the filling, mix jam with water and liqueur and heat (do not make!). Cool amount and spread 2/3 of it evenly on the first cake.

Place the other cake on top and spread with the remaining jam.

In a saucepan, moderately heat the chocolate with butter and salt and stir well. When the choc is melted, remove saucepan from the stove and stir in liqueur. Place cake on aluminum foil, pour frosting over it and spread around the edges.
