For the roasted millet with chard and roasted almond slivers, lightly steam millet in salted hot water, covered, for about 20 minutes.Finely chop onion and garlic. Separate chard into individual leaves. Heat wok, roast almond slivers in it without oil until light brown, remove from wok and set aside.Pour canola oil into the wok, briefly fry onion and garlic in it. Add the chard and stir-fry until combined. Season with salt and pepper.Add cooked millet, fry for 1 more minute. Season the fried millet with salt and pepper and mix in the chopped herbs.Serve the fried millet immediately.
