For the Powidl wheels, mix all dough ingredients into a smooth dough as cold as possible, then place in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.
In the meantime, mix all ingredients for the filling. Divide the dough into 8 equal-sized pieces and shape into balls. Then flatten these balls to form a disk.
Make a cut at all points of the compass, place the filling in the center and at each cut take the dough and and pass it over the filling to the center, creating a pinwheel.
Press the ends of the dough together in the center. Bake at 160 °C hot air for about 30 minutes.
