For the potato and chicken casserole, pre-cook the potatoes.

Cut 2 large onions into fine rings, cut chicken breast and peppers into strips, slice mushrooms (or use some from the can).

Fry onions in a little clarified butter until golden brown and set aside. Salt, pepper and sear the chicken.

Whisk 2 cups crème fraiche or 1 cup sour cream with 2 eggs and season with marjoram, some caraway seeds and salt. Peel potatoes and cut into slices.

Put 1 layer of potatoes in a baking dish, spread half of the roasted onion, bell pepper strips, mushrooms and chicken evenly on top and pour half of the crème fraiche mixture on top.

Then spread some grated cheese on top. Repeat the whole thing again and finish with cheese.

Bake the potato and chicken casserole at about 170 degrees hot air. (varies depending on the type of oven)
