Instructions:

For the fir tree sapling liqueur, harvest and wash the light green new shoots of the fir tree branches.

In a large, well-sealed glass, place a generous layer of the fir tips. Fill the container with alcohol and seal carefully.

Now it is time to let the fir tree sapling liqueur “mature”. The container is now left in a warm, sunny place for about 6-8 weeks.

After that, you can filter the liquid through a fine sieve.

Now make the sugar syrup by boiling the sugar with water and letting it boil for a bit at about 105° C.

After cooling down, mix it with the fir tree essence. If you are in a hurry, you can taste the liqueur right away, sweeten it as you wish or add other spices.

However, the liqueur becomes even better after a few weeks of waiting, well sealed in sterile bottles. It is worth being a little patient! After all, a tree does not grow in too short a time!
