Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Place the paper baking cups on a baking tray. Put the butter in a suitable bowl and mix until creamy. Add the coconut flakes and the orange zest and fold in. Beat the egg whites in a high baking bowl until stiff peaks form, adding the salt and gradually the sugar. Place the snow on top of the coconut mixture and fold in loosely.
Divide the mixture evenly into the baking cups. Bake the tartlets on the middle rack in the oven for about 12 minutes. Bring to the table freshly baked.
