Instructions:

For the buttermilk rolls, stir the yeast in a little lukewarm water until smooth, then add the remaining ingredients and work into a smooth dough. Cover and let rise for about half an hour in a warm place.

Cut off about 15 pieces and form into loaves. Make patterns with a knife and/or sprinkle with grains. Cover and let rise for another half hour.

Bake at 200 degrees for about 25 minutes.
