A great cake recipe for any occasion:
Crumble yeast into a bowl/baking dish. Add cow’s milk (lukewarm). Add sugar, flour, vanilla sugar, butter, salt, oil, low-fat curd cheese and egg in order, knead the whole thing together, place a tea towel over it and let it rise for min. Let rise for 30 minutes. Then roll out the dough on a baking sheet. Place breadcrumbs and blueberries over the dough. Place butter, cow’s milk, sugar and vanilla sugar in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Stir in semolina. Cook for 5 minutes.
Add the egg yolks. At the end, fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites and pour over the blueberries.
Mix 1 egg yolk with 1 tbsp. canned milk and pour on top of the dough, then let it rise for another time and bake for 40 minutes. Baking temperature: 200-225 degrees
