Look forward to this fine asparagus recipe:

Sauté the dry long-grain rice in butter until pale yellow and glazed.

Add the finely diced red onions and pour in boiling hot chicken stock. Cook at low temperature for 20 minutes.

Cut the Black Forest Ham and asparagus into pieces and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

Add diced tomatoes and peas before serving. Toss in butter and add to the long-grain rice form with the grated Parmesan.

Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
