Instructions:

Wash the apricots and remove the pit. Cut the vanilla pod lengthwise, scrape out the pulp and bring to the boil together with the apricots and the preserving sugar, stirring constantly.

After about 30 minutes, put the mixture through the “Flotte Lotte”, add the rum and fill into sterilized jars.

Immediately close the jars and turn them upside down.
