For the apple spaetzle, cook the spaetzle according to instructions, strain and drain well. Wash the apple, remove the core, quarter and cut into thin slices.

Carmelize most of the sugar and add the apple slices and spaetzle. Squeeze the lemon and add lemon juice to the spaetzle.

Stir fry for four minutes. Wash and coarsely chop the mint. Mix the remaining sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over the apple spaetzle.
