For the apple dumplings, first peel the apples and cut into small cubes. Beat the butter with the sugar and a little cinnamon (to taste) and then mix with the remaining ingredients. Then form small dumplings with flour, egg and nuts.

Heat enough oil to fry the dumplings until they float. Fry apple dumplings until golden brown. Sugar and serve while still hot.
