Make butter, whipping cream, sugar and vanilla sugar in a large frying pan, stirring throughout, in about 30 minutes, until a light brown color. The mixture must be thick. Grease the baking sheet with butter and spread the batter evenly on it. When it is semi-solid, score 1 cm squares. All morsels must cool thoroughly before removing from the baking sheet.
Our tip
You can line the baking sheet the same way with baking release paper.
Cut plastic wrap into small squares, and wrap the caramellos with it in style.
