The rusks or cakes are cut into pleasant pieces and placed alternately with the drained compote fruits in a well-greased pudding mold. Sprinkle with raisins and, if desired, a few finely ground nuts. When the mold is almost full, mix the vanilla sugar, eggs, sugar, salt and milk together and pour this amount over the pudding. Close the mold and let it do 1 hour in a water bath. The overturned pudding is topped with compote fruits.
Tip: If you don’t like raisins, just leave them out.
