Instructions:

Quickly knead a shortcrust pastry from the given ingredients, wrap in plastic wrap and let rest in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.

In the meantime, roughly chop the sugar cubes. Preheat the oven to 200 °C and line a baking tray with baking paper.

Cover the work surface with cling film (or baking paper) and roll out the dough thinly (approx. 3-4 mm). Use a cookie cutter to cut out stars, and a smaller cutter to punch a hole in the center of each.

Place the stars on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the hot oven for about 5-7 minutes. Then sprinkle the sugar sprinkles in the punched holes of the cookies, put them back in the oven and finish baking for about another 3-4 minutes until the sugar sprinkles have melted. Let the cookies cool completely on the tray.

Meanwhile, melt chocolate glaze according to package directions.

Decorate snow queen cookies to taste with chocolate coating, hail sugar, coconut flakes and sugar pearls and let dry.
