A great cake recipe for any occasion:
(*) give 28 cm ø, enough for 4 people.
Rinse the potatoes, boil until soft. Peel, strain while hot.
Melt clarified butter in a frying pan. Roast the cervelas cut into small cubes and steam them together with onion and parsley. Mix with cheese and strained potatoes, season with salt and nutmeg.
Grease the baking pan, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, spread the potato mixture evenly in it, sprinkle with the remaining cheese (1). Shape butter flakes on top.
Bake: Bake in very hot oven (250 °C ) below center for twenty to thirty min until light brown.
Cover with slices of tomato, one centimeter thick, seasoned with oregano and sprinkled with seasoning. The cake will be more juicy.
The potato cake is served in the mold.
It goes well with: Mixed leaf salad.
