A great cake recipe for any occasion:
Juice of 3 lemons grated zest e of 1 1/2 lemons Butter to grease 1-2 tbsp. tbsp. breadcrumbs or chopped almonds.
Remove the peel from the potatoes and cook them without salt, grate. Beat the whites of 9 eggs with half of the sugar until stiff. Beat egg yolks with the other half of the sugar until creamy. Add juice of one lemon and zest, chopped almonds and semolina to egg yolks. Stir in the potatoes and snow last. Grease a cake springform pan (26 cm) with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs or possibly chopped almond kernels. Fill the dough into a form, bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours. Cover with parchment paper or foil if necessary. Sprinkle with powdered sugar after baking.
