Instructions:

A great cake recipe for any occasion:

Grease a 28 cm ø cake springform pan with light butter.

Preheat the oven to about 200 degrees. Allow the light butter to melt.

Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. Fold in the cooled light butter.

Sift flour and baking powder on top and fold in. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan and smooth it out. Bake on the second rack from the bottom for 10-12 minutes at about 175 degrees.

Melt the light butter in a saucepan, add the whipping cream, honey, sugar, flaked almonds, cinnamon and orange zest and stir until the mixture comes to the boil.

Remove the cake from the oven and spread the filling on top. Bake again for another 10 to 12 minutes.

Remove the cake from the pan and cool on a cooling rack.
