A wonderful recipe with red wine!
1. wine with preserving sugar and cinnamon sticks in a saucepan and simmer open in about 8-10 min on low heat. Remove the skin from the apples, but do not remove the stalks, and cook for about 15 minutes. Turn once to the other side.
2. lift apples from saucepan, boil red wine to light syrup. Pour over apples and set aside to cool for 12 hours.
Before serving, whip the whipped cream with the sugar until stiff. Finally, fold in the Calvados.
