Mix all ingredients to a smooth dripping batter.
Heat vegetable oil in deep fryer or saucepan (approx. 160 °C).
On upside-down grater, spread drops of dough into hot fat and bake until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes).
Remove the browned peas from the oil with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Serve clear soup in plates and sprinkle in baking peas.
