For the family: microwave recipe Marinated fish is an easily digestible, refreshing meal. With baked potatoes or possibly bread, it makes a full meal. Plaice is exceptionally well suited to marinating in the microwave due to its low fat content and short cooking time. Ideal for guests! Rinse and dry plaice fillets. Season with salt and pepper. Peel and slice onions. Rinse peppers, cut into quarters, remove seeds and white membranes and cut flesh into strips about 1/2 cm wide. Add water, vinegar, apple juice, bay leaves, mustard and peppercorns, salt and vegetables to a large microwave bowl form. Cover and cook on 600 watts for 10 minutes, stirring marinade twice. Add the fish and heat again for 1, 5 min, cool in the broth. Garnish with lime wedges and dill flags. Serve with fried potatoes.
The fish can be prepared and chilled 1 to 2 days before eating. Plaice fillets are available in large fish stores (e.g., North Sea stores) throughout the year. Alternatively, you can also use redfish.
Preparation time about 15 min.
