For baked bananas, scrape out vanilla pulp and mix with flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in egg and milk and mix until smooth.
Let stand for 15 minutes. Heat oil in a wok until very hot. Peel bananas, cut into 3 cm long pieces, pull them through the batter and fry them briefly in the oil until they are light brown.
Carefully remove banana pieces with a large spoon, degrease on paper towels and roll in sesame seeds. Serve baked bananas still warm with vanilla ice cream and honey.
