For the apple cream strudel, place flour on a board or in a large enough bowl. Make a well in the center.
Add oil, egg and a little water (each according to the consistency of the dough) to this hollow. Mix everything together, quickly knead into a dough.
Portion dough, brush with oil, rest 1/2 hour, slice halved apples.
Roll out strudel dough on a floured tea towel, or board until paper-thin.
Cover the dough with butter flakes, drizzle 3 tablespoons of cream over it, cover with sliced apples.
Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and vanilla.
Wrap the strudel, place it in a gratin dish greased with butter. Place in oven preheated to 170 degrees Celsius and bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
Pour milk over the strudel, put it back into the oven and bake at about 150 °C for 5 to 100 minutes.
Remove the strudel from the oven, sprinkle with fine sugar and serve with a warm vanilla sauce.
