Cook strudel dough as described in the basic recipe. Cut kohlrabi into tender strips and sauté in half of the hot butter.

Coarsely grate parsley root and carrots on vegetable grater. Briefly sauté curry in the remaining fat. Add all the vegetables and sauté for 5 minutes, stirring until soft. Cool.

Fold in eggs, chervil and coarsely grated cheese, season with salt and cayenne pepper. Roll out dough and fill as described in the basic recipe. Brush strudel with egg yolk, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake in heated oven at 200 degrees for 35-40 min.

Rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Serve with tomato sauce.
