A cake recipe for all foodies:
Spread the rolled out yeast dough thinly with the jam. Drain the dried fruits steamed in a little sugar water or the canned fruits well and place them on the jam. After thawing, roll out the puff pastry thinly and place it on the fruit. Bake for 10 minutes, the puff pastry should be a little brown.
Melt light butter, add sugar, almond kernels and vanilla sugar, let it bubble up. Stir one large egg or two small eggs into the almost cooled mixture. Spread this amount on the puff pastry top and finish baking the cake. When cool, spread melted butter on top and dust with powdered sugar.
Baking time: 30-40 min. Temperature: 180 °C -200 °C
