First peel and finely dice the onion. Cut the zucchini including the peel into coarse cubes and brown both a little in oil.
Now add the homemade soup spice and stir well. Pour in a liter of water.
Remove the peas from their shells and keep them in a bowl. Add the pea pods to the soup with the Maggi herb as well, this gives a very subtle flavor.
Peel the kohlrabi and save the top piece of peel, ideally with the very small leaves on it. Add the diced kohlrabi pieces to the peas in the bowl.
Also peel the carrot first, then dice it into small pieces. Blend the soup thoroughly, pepper and salt to taste – when salting, don’t forget that the homemade soup seasoning is already salty – and strain through a sieve.
Add the vegetables to the soup, cook for about 10 minutes more and then serve.
