For the shortbread hearts, mix all ingredients together until smooth. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Then roll out, cut out hearts and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes.

Allow the shortbread hearts to cool slightly and decorate with melted chocolate coating and sugar decorations as desired.
