Instructions:

Peel, halve and core the apples, sprinkle with the juice of one lemon. Put cinnamon sticks, red wine, cloves and honey in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Steam the apples in it for 8-10 minutes until soft. Cool in the wine.

Stir cream cheese with whipped cream and orange liqueur until smooth. Slit the vanilla pod, scrape out the pulp and add. Stir in half the peppercorns and all the pistachios. Lightly toast the pine nuts and slivered almonds in a dry frying pan, cool and mix into the cream, sweetening it as desired.

Drain the apples and arrange on dessert plates.

Pour a little red wine. Decorate the apples with the cream. Rinse and dry the kitchen herbs. Garnish the dessert with herbs and the remaining peppercorns.

Stewed in cherry or black currant juice. You can also omit the peppercorns, in which case the dessert will taste more moderate.

In addition, the cheese cream is sweetened with a little honey.

Our tip: It is best to use fresh herbs for a particularly good aroma!
