For the oatmeal cookies, toast the sunflower seeds until light brown and let cool. Cream butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt. Mix flour, oatmeal and sunflower seeds well.

Mix the butter-sugar mixture well with the flour mixture. Bake at 175 °C. Form 1.5 cm diameter biscuits from the dough, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and flatten by hand.

Bake the oatmeal cookies for about 15 minutes until light brown.
