Instructions:

For the muffins, melt the chocolate with butter on the steam bath.

Stir well while doing so. Remove the melted chocolate from the heat and let cool.

After the chocolate-butter mixture has reached room temperature, stir in the egg first and then the milk. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top/bottom heat.

In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together. Sift the flour and the baking powder.

Pour the liquid mixture into the dry mixture and stir well. Pour the batter into the baking cups.

Sprinkle each muffin with a pinch of sugar and bake for 18 to 20 minutes.
