For the lemon cake, beat the eggs with the butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until nice and fluffy. Then add the flour with the baking powder. Finally, add the lemon zest and juice.

Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake the lemon cake at approx. 170 °C for 45 – 50 minutes.
