Instructions:

For the honey gingerbread, beat the eggs and cream them with the sugar. Mix in the liquid honey, the gingerbread spice and raisins, candied lemon peel and oranges well. Fold in the flour and the sifted baking powder and quickly mix everything into a dough.

Spread the honey gingerbread dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper and decorate with almonds and hazelnuts or dried fruit as desired.

Bake the honey gingerbread in the oven preheated to approx. 150°C for approx. 40 minutes.

Coat the still warm gingerbread with a sugar glaze.

Allow the honey gingerbread to cool well and cut into desired slices or other shapes.
