First prepare the wasabi mayonnaise: Mix mayonnaise and wasabi paste with herbs. Fold in apple sticks and crushed asparagus and leave to infuse in the refrigerator. Taste again – season with salt and pepper if necessary.

Remove the outer leaves from the iceberg lettuce and cut into fine thin strips. Arrange on a plate, season with salt and pepper and drizzle only with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

For the ham rolls, stuff ham with mixture, roll up and cut in half. Place on the salad, decorate with tomato slice and basil. Ready is an appetizing supper … Bon appetite!
