A simple but delicious cake recipe:

Crumble chocolate, melt with water at low temperature. Stir frequently.

Cream butter until creamy. Add chocolate and stir until smooth. Stir in vanilla sugar, sugar, eggs, almond kernels in order. Fold in flour briefly.

Spread the dough on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake at 200 °C (gas mark 3) for approx. 20 min.

Cut into small rectangles when cool.
