A cake recipe for all foodies:
Make a mousse of butter, sugar and eggs. Fold in the flour mixed with baking powder, milk and grated lemon zest.
Fill the dough into a greased cake springform pan lined with breadcrumbs. Remove the skin from the apples, cut them into quarters, slice them and cover the dough with them.
Bake at 175-200 degrees for about 40 to 50 minutes. Sprinkle the cooled cake with powdered sugar.
