Instructions:

Sort and wash the blackberries. Peel, core and chop the pears.

Put both fruits in a large pot and mix with the jelling sugar, let marinate for at least 6 hours.

Puree fruit with a hand blender, boil for 6 minutes until bubbly, add pear brandy.

Pour the jam into clean screw-top jars and seal immediately.
