For the asparagus-strawberry salad, cook the asparagus in water with salt and sugar for about 15 minutes. After cooling, cut into bite-sized pieces and quarter the strawberries.

Let the sugar caramelize and deglaze with the balsamic vinegar and water (be careful, could splash). Bring to a boil and simmer for about 7 minutes.

Season with salt, pepper and basil, then whisk in the oil. Toast the pine nuts without oil in a pan.

Arrange the arugula, rocket, asparagus pieces and the strawberries on the plates and pour the vinaigrette over them, let everything sit for about 30 minutes and decorate with the pine nuts.
