For the apple in a blanket, preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Peel the apples and remove the core with an apple corer. Boil the raisins in a little water until soft and then drain.
Mix 2 tablespoons of sugar, cinnamon, raisins and aranzini. Fill the apples with the marzipan paste, press firmly and then fill with the raisin mixture. Place one puff pastry slice over each apple and seal under the apple.
Beat the egg and brush the puff pastry with it and sprinkle with the remaining sugar. It is best to place in small aluminum dishes on a baking sheet. Then bake the apple in the puff pastry in the oven at 180 degrees for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
